‘Helter Skelter Hillclimb’ presented by Buckland Newton Hire (BNH) What comes up must come down!
Following on from our successful inaugural event in 2021, Steel Hawk proudly presents the 2022 ‘Helter Skelter Hillclimb’ presented by Buckland Newton Hire (BNH) on Saturday 11th June and is open to anyone with two wheels and a motor.
The concept is simple, we race six riders to the top of a hill, but it doesn’t end there. What goes up must come down, so when they get to the top they turn around and race a slalom course back down. We think it will be a lot of fun and good entertainment!
Classes
85cc Class – Small or Big Wheel 85cc Youth Riders
125cc Class – Up to 125cc 2 Strokes
250cc Class – Up to 250cc 4 Stroke & 2 Stroke
450cc Class – Up to 450cc 4 Stokes
Moped Class
Minibike Class
Farmbike Class – Up to 125cc 4 Stokes, Stock machines only (CRF125, TTR125, DRZ125, KLX125)
Run What You Brung – Dirtbikes not catered for in other classes (Evo, Classics, Twinshocks & Randoms)

The Track
Situated in the stunning Dorset countryside the circuit is set in a valley close to the scenic village of Buckland Newton which is 10 miles from the county town of Dorchester.

Costs
Entry Fee per rider per class – £45
Transponder hire is available for £10
Nora day licences are available for £10
Spectators
Spectators are welcome at our events with ticket info being released soon!
The Race Programme
Each rider will receive a 2 or 3 runs up the hill for practice. They will then have four heats and a final. The points scored in the heats will determine what final riders qualify for, ie top six riders will qualify for the A Final, the next six B Final and so on!
